Mensheds Australia has been developed to support the various needs of individual men’s sheds.  Over the years this has involved considerable evolution of the model, the way we operate and how we interact with individual men’s sheds at various stages of their development. There are two levels of membership:

 

Associate Membership of Mensheds Australia

There is no charge for Associate Members who receive:

• Access to the Mensheds Australia Helpdesk for support / advice (during business hours)
• A dedicated page on the Mensheds Australia locator on the website with their information displayed
• Copies of the Mensheds Australia Newsletters, with opportunity to profile your men’s shed, or its activities
• Access to Mensheds Australia fund raising merchandise
• Any enquiries received by Mensheds Australia from our local area for memberships, sponsorships and partnerships are be re-directed to us.

 

Membership of Mensheds Australia - Is available for $275 (including GST) annually!
 

This provides:

• All that is included with Associate Membership
• Access to the Resource Centre modules about starting and operating a men’s shed.
• Other specific services are provided on a negotiated basis as required, including the option of a structured four stage development program and services for men’s sheds that are well established and wish to develop their services to members and their community even further.

 

We remain steadfast in our objective to support men’s sheds that seek to be exemplary community organisations that are interested in sustainable organisational and operating structures.  We are also of the view that the men’s sheds should have a degree of financial independence.  To these ends, Mensheds Australia has built its support around the best information available for the operation of a community men’s shed organisation.
